Digital Art: Christmas Suit Up!

9th illustration for my 12 drawings before Christmas Series. My cute pair here is donning the cutest Holiday OOTDs. They’re delighted, and I’m envious coz I want one myself!

This simple GIF thingy amuses me. it’s like steppin foot finally on animation world [ lol 2 drawings on loop at least make motion] — but it’s cute, is not it? yep, 2 drawings on loop. the differences are the eyebrows and smile! haha

Christmas is joy, religious joy, an inner joy of light and peace. – Pope Francis

Digital Art: Flower Boy

8th illustration for 12 Drawings before Christmas Series. And Oh, it’s a GIF~! and oh, it’s a boy!

Rarely draw men, boys, gentlemen; I’m used to sketching girls, I think female anatomy is more interesting as subjects. But hey, I tried, and here; a man — but with features of a pretty girl — hence, a FLOWER BOY! : D

Created 2 drawings [diff backgrounds] and made GIF, easy. No frills. But I kinda like animation… hmmm *project *project.

Digital Art: Playing Video Games

Captioned: “A Couple who plays video games together stays together.” — is it? : )

This was my first time to make a background for my digital drawing. I was exploring different kinds of blending in Medibang and just found out the nitty-gritty of making shadows, reflections, light, and fine details. Still not refined though, and there are some inconsistencies — but I enjoy the process.

By the way, this was my first submission in my DEVIAN ART profile. : )

Digital Art: Face Painting Practice

So I did. I know how to draw a face in traditional paper and pencil, but oh, boy, it’s overwhelming in digital, but sooner, and with more conscious learning, I’ll get the hang of it!!

At first, I thought It was fine, but leaving this drawing away and seeing it again now [this was 4 days ago actually], I can naturally point out the flaws, such as the crooked jawlines, uneven eyes, and the shadowing and blending [since I wanted it to be realistic].

yeah, it’s funny how the OG princess came after as an evil Scrooge! haha.

will update this drawing… so I can check on my progress. 🙂

Digital Art: Dog’s love

I’ve been illustrating Dogs and Hooman these days. And what can I do, I love my pets babies, and I love seeing #doglovers.

I rarely draw animals coz it ain’t my forte, but when I think of my love for my dogs and the love I got from the, it’s magic, indeed.

Digital Art: Strong Woman

Ohh I love colors these days!

And I have to. IRL, I’d loved darker and neutral hues but I have to make a shift when it comes to digital illustrations. You see, the more colorful and vibrant the colors, the more it catches people’s attention, especially the internet as the main platform. I ain’t saying dark colors are bad, but bright colors stand out among the many, and so is a brave woman!

Tools: Medibang Paint Pro, Ugee Graphics Tablet, lots of love! Exploring clipping layers.

Digital Art: Thanksgiving Couple

How did Y’all spend “thanksgiving”?

In my country, The Philippines, we do not have such a day as US; but every day is gratitude day of course; it’s a universal celebration so to speak. We greet everyone “happy thanksgiving!”.

I did a Digital Sketch as a thank-you note. I dedicate this to all “happily partnered” (I’ll make one for happy single soon 🙂 ). Tools: Medibang Paint Pro, Ugee Graphics Tablet, and lots of love!

I am happy with the progress I make with Digital / Graphics Art, I think imma stay here in the long haul. I miss my scratch papers though, nonetheless, this medium uses no paper, so I still do Mother Earth a favor! 🙂

Watercolor: Time Lapse #3 “Rotten Tomatoe”

This is part of my “Rotten” series; see Apple and Papaya.

I am so inspired by “hyper-realists” — they make drawing pop like it’s real; still have to practice to achieve that style.

Digital Art: Most Number of “IG Likes”, so far.

SO I did open an Instagram account. it’s nice to hear from artists; you belong in a community, and you get to see and be inspired by their works and share yours. I appreciate every little thing that comes, and I like gettin “likes” from awesome pros so to speak.

Here’s a time-lapse:

So far, this is a favorite illustration of mine and I’m thrilled to make some more; thinking of making a series of “Girl Bosses” or “Women Empowerment”.

I think imma do it! 🙂
